“I think that we are moving toward a time in the inmate telephone industry where the federal government will start regulating the call rates. Right now Congress has a bill, HR 1133, that hasn’t moved but it’s an attempt to get regulation.”
As a former administrator, I’m opposed to more regulation, but I also think that the industry needs to keep phone rates reasonable.
